Henry’s Glasses Premiers at the Vancouver International Film Festival 2010

We are very pleased to announce that Henry’s Glasses has been selected to be part of the 2010 Vancouver International Film Festival. There will be two screening of the film on October 11th, here are the details:
Monday, October 11th at 3:30pm.
Location: Pacific Cinematheque. 1131 Howe Street, Vancouver BC.

Monday, October 11th at 9:30pm.
Location: Empire Granville 7. 855 Granville Street, Vancouver BC.

Henry’s Glasses is Picture Wrapped!

We have now officially wrapped production on our film, Henry’s Glasses. The production went so smoothly and everyone did amazing work! The edit is looking really good so far and everyone who worked on the film or helped in anyway with the production should be proud of their contribution and of what we created as a collective!

Henry’s Glasses Film Project

Henry’s Glasses is part of a film project we are calling: The Rising Sun Projects. Within the The Rising Sun Projects, we are producing Henry’s Glasses, a feature documentary known as The Rising Sun and a feature film known as Blossoms In Foreign Soil.

Henry’s Glasses is part of the 2009, Directors Guild of Canada’s Kick Start Program. In October, 2009, the Henry’s Glasses team is heading out to the mountains near Hope, BC to film this project. To date, it is amazing to see the amount of support from the film industry, the Japanese Canadian community and other local companies towards the successful production of this film. We are extremely thankful to all who are helping and we will do everything in our power to make this important film, powerful and respectful. We hope it educates its viewers about this dark time in Canadian history.
